St Benedict’s believes in using Information Technology to enhance learning in all curriculum areas; this thinking is in line with the 2020 Digital Technology Curriculum. One such example is the Code Camp After School Programme which we run to enhance our students’ learning around all things IT.
We have a number of PCs and laptops including Lenovo and Chromebooks available for use throughout the school. There are also a number of iPads all with downloaded educational apps and tools, which all classes have access to. All of our classrooms, plus the library have data projectors and interactive whiteboards installed – these are used daily in a range of ways to support teaching and learning.
The school employs an external company, AISCORP to install and maintain both hardware and software. Each year we budget to continue developing our IT resources so we are able to further enhance learning for our students.
